FIVE HOUR FOOTBALL STEW
2 lbs. stew meat
1 lg. onion , sliced thin & separated into rings
6 carrots, cut into 1/2" slices
1 rib celery, cut into 1/2" slices
3 potatoes, peeled & quartered
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. tapioca
1 C. V8 or tomato juice
Place meat in the bottom of a 4-quart casserole. Cover meat with vegetables. Add tomato or V8 juice.
Bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours.
*IMPORTANT* DO NOT PEEK UNTIL THE 5 HOURS ARE UP!!!!!!!!
