Vegetables Mashed Potatoes With A Difference

Recipe Ingredients
2 large baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 yams or sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 large clove garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons non-fat milk
Freshly ground Black Pepper

Recipe Directions
Plave potatoes, yams or sweet potatoes and garlic in a large sauce-pan. Add cold water to cover. Bring to a boil. Turn the heat to medium and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Drain well. Add the sour cream, mayonaise, milk, and pepper and salt(if using) to taste. Beat or mash the potatoes to the desired texture, adding more milk if necessary. Taste and adjust the seasoning; Serve immediately.
